Take a look at this gorgeous Roxie paper.
All of Close to My Heart's patterned paper is now nice cardstock weight and I couldn't wait to play with it!
I knew that I wanted to use that beautiful floral paper and I choose the Enchantment Layout from the Magic "how to" book.
The corner of a piece of cardstock covered the huge flower that I wanted to showcase.
So here is what I did:
I layed my piece of cardstock in its position on top of the floral paper
and made a tiny mark where it met the edges of the flower and surrounding design.
Then I used my microtip scissors to cut around the part of the design and the flower that I wanted to layover my cardstock.
Finally I put the layout together sliding the cardstock under the
slit in the flowered background and texture paper.
The final product was exactly the best of both worlds.
A fantastic layout from Magic with a minor alteration to show off
the fabulous flower on the background and texture paper.
Come back tomorrow to check out Words for Wendesdays!
